The art of choosing well
Every piece in our collection is the result of a long and deliberate search. We believe that a truly exceptional bag is not merely made — it is found.

The Store was born from a single conviction: that the world does not need more bags — it needs better ones. Our edit is small by design. Each season we consider hundreds of pieces and bring home only a handful.
We travel to the ateliers ourselves. We handle the leather, examine the stitching, open and close the clasps until we understand how a piece will age. A bag that looks beautiful on day one but loses its shape by year two has no place here.
Our relationships with makers span years, sometimes decades. Trust is built slowly, and it shows in the work.
What we look for
Material integrity
We source only full-grain and top-grain leathers from tanneries with traceable, responsible practices. The hand of the leather — its weight, its warmth, the way it yields — is the first thing we assess.
Construction
Saddle-stitched seams. Solid brass hardware. Linings cut from the same care as the exterior. We look for the details that most people will never notice — because those are the details that last.
Longevity
We ask one question of every piece: will it still be beautiful in ten years? If the answer is uncertain, it does not make the edit. Our customers are not buying a bag for a season.
A small edit, chosen with care
The Store carries fewer than thirty styles at any one time. That restraint is intentional. We would rather you find one piece you reach for every day than fill a wardrobe with things that never quite feel right.
